It's helpful to see how teams are connected. Org charts make it easier to find the right person to contact in other departments or identify counterparts in similar roles.
Microsoft Org Explorer is a quick and easy to way to connect to people in the organisation.
We've added information so that you can search by person, team or location. However we understand that people move roles and location around the organisation so we ask for you to let us know by filling in this form to keep this information up to date!
This guide will show you how to :
- Find the person by reporting lines
- Find the person by team, office or address
- How to view the address and contact details
Reporting lines by person
1. Click this Icon in Outlook or in Teams
2. Go to the search bar called Org Explorer and type the name the colleague you’re looking for. This located on the top right within Teams and and the top centre in Outlook
3. Click on each contact within the team to see further details. Here you can see can click on team members to see who they work with and who their direct reports are.
4. By clicking View Profile you will see where the placement of contact details will be.
Find people by team, office or address

Click the icon for Org Explorer or Teams
2. Use the search bar to type the desired team name or office location such as 'Head Office' or 'Digital Services'.
3. Press Enter on your keyboard and the People option will become available.
4. Click People to reveal all the team members that fit your search criteria.
We are aware team members move roles and locations- we ask for team members to be responsible for letting you know there information is correct so we can keep this detail up to date.
How to view the address and contact details
- Search for the person in Outlook or Teams
- Click on the name to view the profile card
